COMPLETE SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's 11 head women's basketball coaches have cast their votes on the 2025-26 edition of the all-conference team, and Farmingdale State College senior point guard
Shyann Parker (Floral Park, N.Y.) has been selected as its Defensive Player of the Year, as well as to a spot on the second team All-Skyline squad. Additionally, sophomore forward
Emily Tsiforas (Manhasset Hills, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline's All-Sportsmanship Team.
Parker was one of just four players to receive multiple Skyline Conference Player of the Week awards this winter (Nov. 10, Dec. 22). She has posted five double-doubles from her point guard position, including one with double-digit assists, while guarding the opposition's top perimeter player on a nightly basis. Parker is the only player in the Skyline ranked in its top-11 in assists (2nd, 4.3/gm. - No. 42 in Division III), steals (5th, 2.3/gm.), assist to turnover ratio (7th, 1.1) and rebounding (T-11th, 7.6/gm.), while her .412 field goal percentage is the top mark on the team.
Head coach
Mark Dellecave's Farmingdale State team finished the regular season with a 14-11 record, and a 12-8 mark in Skyline action. The Rams are the No. 4 seed in this week's six-team 2026 Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Championship, and will play host to fifth-seeded St. Joseph's University-Long Island in a first round game, Wednesday night at 5. All up-to-date information about the championship as the week progresses can be found at the
Skyline's Championship Central website.
