Utica, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team split two matches on Friday at the Utica College Volleyball Tournament. The Rams defeated host Utica 3-0 in their afternoon match, before falling in their evening match 3-0 to Union.

Against Utica, junior middle Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) and senior outside Christina Hickey (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) posted a team-high six kills each, while sophomore setter Lauren Anne Strezenec (Merrick, N.Y.) finished with a team-high 12 assists and three service aces. Junior libero Stephanie Etersque (Deer Park, N.Y.) led the team with eight digs.

In the match versus Union College, Strezenec posted 12 more assists, along with 11 digs. Etersque tallied 11 digs and Cadle-Hinton finished the match with three block solos and four block assists.

Farmingdale State will now take on SUNY Geneseo on Sunday, October 1 at 5:00 p.m.
