SUNY Geneseo - 3, Farmingdale State - 0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-19)

Geneseo, N.Y. - In a non-conference women's volleyball match at SUNY Geneseo on Saturday, Farmingdale State fell, 3-0.

The Knights (10-8) captured the first set 25-19 and followed with 25-15 and 25-19 wins for the three-set victory.

Senior outside Christina Hickey (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) tallied a team-high eight kills for the Rams (6-6), while sophomore outside Annie Cosgrave (Bay Shore, N.Y.) pitched in with six kills and a pair of blocks. Freshman setter Julia Hande (Islip, N.Y.) recorded 14 assists to go along with seven digs and five kills.

SUNY Geneseo was led by Tricia Baxley's (Smithtown, N.Y.) game-high 11 kills. Freshmen outside hitters Grace Cergol (East Northport, N.Y.) and Abby May (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) had nine and seven kills, respectively, in the victory.

Farmingdale State next will travel to Medgar Evers for a non-conference match on Thursday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m.
