Box Score 2 McAllister Hits Two Home Runs in Conference

Brooklyn, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State Rams improved to a
6-10 overall record and 2-0 in Skyline after they swept
NYU-Poly(2-2, 2-2) on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore infielder
Ryan McAllister (Miller Place, N.Y./Rocky Point) went 4-4 in the
second game, with two home runs and seven RBI's.
In the first game, freshman pitcher Vinny Messana (Lake
Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Centereach) kept the Fighting Blue Jays scoreless
until the 6th inning. Messana pitched 5.1 innings with eight
strikeouts in the win. Junior Kevin Curtis (Riverheard,
N.Y./Riverhead) went 2-2 with two runs scored and batted in.
Freshman outfielder Terrance Bohonan (Patchogue, N.Y.,
Pathcogue-Medford) went 3-4 with three runs and four RBI's.
In the second game, McAllister had help from seniors Frank Ennis
(Commack, N.Y./Commack) and Zak Nersesian (Valley Cottage,
N.Y./Nyack) who each had three runs batted in. Junior Matt
Weingartner (Westbury, N.Y./W.T Clarke) went 4-5 with five runs and
one RBI. Sophomore Danny Devito (Plainview, N.Y./Holy
Trinity) also contributed with four runs and two RBI's.
Sophomore pitcher Ramel Graham (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) received
the win, pitching four innings with five strikeouts and giving up
only two earned runs.
Farmingdale State will host Old Westbury for another conference
double-header Sunday, March 21st at 12:00 pm.
