Box Score Rams Roll Past Yeshiva on Valentine's Day

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's
basketball improved to 22-0 on the season, 16-0 in the Skyline
Conference with a 95-39 win this afternoon over Yeshiva University.
The Maccabees dropped to 2-20, 0-17 in conference play.
Farmingdale State controlled the game from the start, taking a
52-16 lead into halftime. The Rams shot 48% from the field in the
first half and held Yeshiva to 6-for-23 shooting. Farmingdale
outscored the Maccabees 43-23 in the second half, keeping their
perfect season in tact with the 95-39 Skyline Conference
victory.
The Rams were led by freshman guard Jeanette Zubizarreta (Bay
Shore, N.Y./Calhoun), who recorded a game-high 17 points, shooting
5-for-7 from three-point range. Senior guard Kimberly Blakney
(Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) had 13 points, six assists and
five steals for Farmingdale State.
Senior center Lauren Kempin (Fairlawn, N.J./Frisch) had a
team-high 11 points, four assists and blocked four shots for
Yeshiva.
The Rams host Purchase College on senior night in a Skyline
Conference game on Thursday, February 18th at 6:00 p.m.
