FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Five members of the Farmingdale State College softball team received recognition by the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), earning Scholar-Athlete distinction for their efforts in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
Senior
Alyssa Cowen (Garden City South, N.Y.), juniors
Samantha Stolfi (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and
Deanna Ebert (Bay Shore, N.Y.), and freshmen
Kaysee Mojo (Riverhead, N.Y.) and
Madison DeMaio (Elmont, N.Y.) were each honored by the NFCA for holding a 3.5 grade-point average or better during the academic year.
Additionally, Cowen and Stolfi recently received
Academic All-District praise from College Sports Communicators.
The Rams won their 10th Skyline Conference Championship in 2025, finishing with a 29-16 record.
