Farmingdale State - 5, Purchase - 4

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Trailing 2-1 after doubles, the Farmingdale State men's tennis team won 4-of-6 singles matches en route to the 5-4 Skyline Conference victory over Purchase this afternoon.

FSC's point in doubles came in the #3 position as junior Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) and freshman Matthew Ramsay (Bay Shore, N.Y.) earned an 8-4 victory. In singles, senior Marvin Beaubrun (Farmingdale, N.Y.) (6-1, 6-2), junior Daniel Kafka (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) (6-7, 6-1, 6-2), freshman Chris Molchan (Mattituck, N.Y.) (6-2, 2-6, 6-1) and freshman Cooper Everett (Long Beach, N.Y.) (6-3, 6-2) each tallied wins in the third through sixth slots, respectively.

Farmingdale State next will play host to Mount Saint Mary in a Skyline Conference match on Tuesday, April 17 th at 6:00 p.m.
