SCHENECTADY, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2026-27 season Saturday at Union College's Garnet Cup, falling to the home side by a 7-0 score before losing a consolation match to Oneonta, 6-1.

Michael Lerman (Massapequa, N.Y.) competed in a close match against Union's Alain Uzelac, falling by scores of 7-5 and 6-4, while sophomore
Luke Plana (Bohemia, N.Y.) played to identical scores of 6-4 in his No. 6 battle versus Reilly Fowles.
In the consolation tilt against Oneonta, the Rams (1-2) received a 6-2 victory in the third doubles flight from freshman

Broc Brown (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) registered a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles over the Red Dragons' Sean Lippman.
Farmingdale State will open up the spring segment of its schedule on March 30, when the defending Skyline Conference champions begin their title defense at home against St. Joseph's-Long Island.
