Men's Tennis Falls to Yeshiva in Conference Finals

Bogata, N.J. - The third-seeded Farmingdale State men's tennis team fell, 5-0, to top-ranked Yeshiva in the conference finals at the Courtsense Bogota Racquet Club in Bogata, N.J. this afternoon. The Maccabees claimed their third straight Skyline title and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament.

In doubles play, Yeshiva (13-3) earned three points with 8-2, 8-0 and 8-2 victories.

At first singles, YU junior David Papis Elon (Herzliya, Israel) recorded a 6-0, 6-1 win over FSC's (11-6) Kevin Palacios (Glen Cove, N.Y.) and Dmitri Lebedyev (Holon, Israel) carded a 6-0, 6-1 against Daniel Kafka (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) in the second position. The other four matches were unfinished after Yeshiva claimed the championship.
