Oneonta State - 8, Farmingdale State - 1

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team fell 8-1 today against SUNY Oneonta. The Rams now stand at 4-2 overall, while the Red Dragons improved to 3-8.

Oneonta took all the doubles matches to go up 3-0, including a close match at 1st doubles where sophomore Chris Hunter (Melville, N.Y.) and junior Kevin Palacios (Glen Cove, N.Y.) lost close 9-8.

In singles play, Hunter scored the only point for Farmingdale State with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Benjamin Leighton.

The Rams will now host St. Joseph's on Tuesday, April 7th in a Skyline match at 4:00 p.m.
