Bloomfield, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's
golf team shot an opening round 309 and are currently in fourth
place out of 11 teams at the NYU/Manhattanville Fall Invitational
held at Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, N.J.
The Rams were led by junior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.)
who carded a 3-over par 74. Senior Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.)
and freshman Jesse Kovacs (St. James, N.Y.) each posted rounds of
78, while sophomore Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) shot 79.
Skidmore (301) holds a four stroke lead over both NYU and
RPI.
Individually, Zach Grossman of Skidmore posted a 2-under 69 and
holds a three shot lead over NYU's Paul Park.
Tomorrow's final round begins at 8:30 a.m.
