RESULTS
JERICHO, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's golf team competed at the Adelphi Invitational on Thursday at Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, N.Y. The one-day, 36-hole event featured seven teams across Divisions I, II, and III. The Rams placed sixth overall with rounds of 324 and 329 for a two-round total of 653 (+77).
Junior Luke O'Grady-Rodgers (Carmel, N.Y.) led Farmingdale State with rounds of 77 and 85 to finish at 162 (+18). Freshman Luke Grebinar (Leominster, Mass.) improved from an opening-round 84 to card a 78 in round two, finishing at 162 (+18) and tying with O'Grady Rodgers for 18th overall.
Junior Padruig Douglas (Northport, N.Y.) recorded scores of 82 and 84 for a 166 (+22), while freshman Tyler Grimm (Buffalo, N.Y.) posted an 81 and 85 for a 167 (+23).
Competing as individuals, freshman Mitchel Creamer (Mission Viejo, Calif.) shot 75-82 for a total of 157 (+13) to tie for ninth place, while sophomore Nicholas Kolongowski (Mastic, N.Y.) finished at 171 (+27) after rounds of 90 and 81.
Adelphi University captured the team title at 609 (+33), followed by Hofstra (638, +62) and Assumption (645, +69).
Farmingdale State will return to action tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 17) when they host the FSC Skyline Invitational at Eisenhower Park's White Course, their final tournament before the Skyline Conference Championship on October 19–20.
