Farmingdale State - 9, Brooklyn College - 0

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team shutout Brooklyn College 9-0 in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon. The Rams improved to 4-0 on the year, while the Bulldogs fell to 0-7.

Farmingdale State swept the first matches as they earned an 8-2 win in #1 doubles, an 8-3 victory in second doubles and an 8-2 win in the #3 position.

In singles play, Justin Vijungco (Forest Hills, N.Y.), Alex Bessarabov (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and Jack Eichler (Woodbury, N.Y.) all earned 6-0, 6-0 shutout victories. Ryan Musalo (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) won 6-1, 6-0 at #2 singles, Steven Ferrantello (Dix Hills, N.Y.) posted a 6-0, 6-1 win in fourth singles and Bradley Smith (Minela, N.Y.) earned a 6-0, 6-2 win in the fifth position.

The Rams next will host Yeshiva in a Skyline Conference match on Sunday, April 7th at noon.
