Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team improved to 3-1 on the season after defeating Staten Island, 5-4, in a non-conference match on Saturday. The Dolphins dropped to 1-3 on the year.
The Rams were led by sophomore Jessica Sickles (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) who posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory at first singles and paired with sophomore Alex Bentz (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) for an 8-2 win in at first doubles. Bentz also earned a 6-1, 6-4 win at second singles.
Farmingdale State next will host Oneonta State in a non-conference match on Saturday, September 22nd at 1:00 p.m.
