Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team improve to 1-1 in the conference with a 7-2 victory over Mount Saint Mary College last night in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams are now 3-2 overall, with four Skyline matches remaining before the 4-team conference playoffs which begin on Thursday, April 26.
The Rams won in #1 and #2 doubles to hold a 2-1 lead. The top doubles team of Christian Bormann and Justin Vijungco defeated the Mount's Greg Jacob and Stat Willard 8-3. The #2 doubles team of Ryan Musalo and Joseph Falcetta won 8-6 over Mike McNicholas and Nate Ahlberg.
In singles competition, Farmingdale State went 5-1, with wins at #2-#6, to secure the victory.
The Rams will host Merchant Marine on Thursday, April 5 in a non-conference match at 4:30 p.m.
