#2 Farmingdale State - 5, #3 Mount Saint Mary - 1

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team advanced to the Championship game for the second year in a row after a 5-1 victory over Mount Saint Mary College on Friday afternoon. The Rams will host #4 Purchase in the Skyline Conference Finals on Saturday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m., with the winner receiving the automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament.

Farmingdale State held a 2-1 advantage after doubles play. Sophomore Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) and freshman Justin Vijungco (Forest Hills, N.Y.) picked up an 8-5 victory at #1 doubles. The team of juniors Alex Bessarabov (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and Ryan Musalo (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) earned an 8-2 win at #2 doubles.

In singles competition, Bormann, Bessarabov and junior Jack Eichler (Woodbury, N.Y.) each posted victories for the Rams.
