Dowling College - 6, Farmingdale State - 3

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team fell, 6-3, in a non-conference match against Dowling College this morning in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams are now 7-4 on the year, while Dowling improved to 7-6.

In doubles action, juniors Ryan Musalo (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and Alex Bessarabov (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) paired up for a 9-7 victory over junior Francisco Del Castillo (Lima, Peru) and freshman Francesc Terns (Barcelona, Spain) of Dowling.

Farmingdale State sophomore Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) notched a 6-1, 6-3 victory at #2 singles, while junior Jack Eichler (Woodbury, N.Y.) picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win at sixth singles.

The Rams next will host Purchase in a Skyline Conference match on Tuesday, April 17th at 6:00 p.m.
