Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 non-conference victory over John Jay (0-2) on Monday afternoon to improve to 2-1 overall. The Rams swept the doubles matches, before finishing out 5-1 in singles.
Sophomore Joseph Falcetta (Deer Park, N.Y.) won a close match with Kelvin Rodriguez at 5th singles, falling 5-7 in the first set before rebounding with a 7-5 win and 10-8 tiebreaker win.
The Rams will now face Skyline opponent NYU-Poly at the USTA Tennis Center on Wednesday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m.
