Box Score Tennis Sweeps Yeshiva in Conference Night Match

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team swept the visiting Yeshiva Maccabees (5-4, 2-3) in Thursday night's Skyline Conference match in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams (4-1, 3-0) picked up three wins in doubles play, before sweeping the singles matches for the win.
Freshman Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) did not get to finish his match for the night, winning by retirement. Both senior Joe Passarella (Flushing, N.Y.) and sophomore Alex Bessarabov (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) lost their first sets, but came back to win at second and third singles, respectively.
The Rams will travel to face Purchase College on Friday, April 8th at 4:00 p.m. for a Skyline Conference match.
