Farmingdale, N.Y. - The College of Staten
Island took a 5-4 victory in today's women's tennis season opener
at Farmingdale State. The Rams now stand at 0-1 overall and will
face The Sage Colleges next on Saturday, September 11th at 1:00
p.m.
In doubles competition, Farmingdale State took a 2-1 lead with
wins at 1st doubles (Vanessa Josma/Jamie Pendergrast) and 2nd
doubles (Regina Cane/Laura Earlie).
In singles play, the Rams saw wins from Pendergrast and Nairobi
de la Cruz.
