Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Farmingdale
State men's golf team is currently in second place at
the Skidmore Invitational after posting an opening round 302 at
Saratoga Spa State Park Golf Course. The Rams trail first round
leader Elms College by two strokes.
Freshman Adam Larkin led Farmingdale State and is in second
place individually with a one-over par 73. Junior Chris Arnold
posted a 75 and freshman Matt Gurule shot a 76 in his first
collegiate match. Junior Joe Arnold, playing in his first
tournament since transferring from Nassau Community College, shot a
six-over par 78.
The first tee time for Farmingdale State in Monday's
final round is 9:00 a.m.
