Skyline Releases Men's Tennis Report #4

- Summerlin named Rookie of the Week, Gioles named to Honor Roll -

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the fourth Men's Tennis report for the 2010 season on Monday, April 5th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Freshman Adrian Summerlin (Riverhead, N.Y./Riverhead) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. Summerlin went 2-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles last week. Against Division II Dowling, Summerlin earned a 6-4, 6-3 victory at fifth singles. He also recorded a 6-2, 7-5 win at fourth singles against Staten Island. In doubles play, Summerlin combined with freshman John Ramo for an 8-1 victory at third doubles against Dowling.

Sophomore Theo Gioles (Wantagh, N.Y./Seaford) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Gioles was 1-1 at both second singles and first doubles on the week. He won 6-4, 7-5 in singles and 8-6 in doubles against Staten Island.
