John Juste (Uniondale, N.Y.) posted a regional qualifying mark of 6.98 meters in the men's long jump Thursday night, as the Rams competed at the West Point Twilight Meet.
Juste placed fourth in the event, as he did with his regional qualifying height of 1.94 meters in the high jump. Other Rams marks that surpassed the qualifying standard for next Wednesday and Thursday's (May 13-14) AARTFC Regional Championship in Collegeville, Pa., included third and fourth-place finishes in the triple jump by senior

The Rams won the women's 4x400 meter relay, as the team of sophomore
Alice Valenzuela (Elmont, N.Y.), senior
Olivia Finnegan (Massapequa, N.Y.), freshman
Ciara Cromie (Levittown, N.Y.) and freshman
Amelia Vitale (Hauppauge, N.Y.) clocked a time of 4:17.44. Finnegan registered a second-place distance of 10.46m in the triple jump, with Valenzuela placing third in the 400 meter dash in a time of 4:17.44.
