COMPLETE ALL-SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's eight head men's lacrosse coaches have voted on the 2026 edition of the All-Skyline team, and eight student-athletes from Farmingdale State College were selected to the team – including junior long-stick midfielder
Sean Lawson (Mattituck, N.Y.), who was tabbed as Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Lawson is one of seven first-team honorees from the Rams, joining junior attackers
Joey Forchelli (Seaford, N.Y.) and
Adam Giovinco (Syosset, N.Y.); senior midfielder
Tommy Mai (Islip, N.Y.); defenders
Matt Durnin (So.; Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and
William Henry (Sr.; West Islip, N.Y.); and junior goalkeeper
Connor Dobson (Islip, N.Y.). Additionally, sophomore defender
Logan Reese (West Islip, N.Y.) garnered second-team accolades.
FSC enters this week's 2026 Skyline Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship with the 12th-ranked scoring defense in Division III, with three-time All-Skyline honoree Lawson swiping a Skyline-best 42 caused turnovers. The only two-time Skyline Defensive Player of the Week this spring, he ranks second in the conference with an average of 2.63 takeaways per game (No. 22 nationally), and sixth with an average of 4.38 ground balls per game.
Henry, a second-team selection and USILA Scholar All-American one year ago, Durnin and Reese have all contributed in front of Dobson's cage. Durnin's 2.19 caused turnovers per outing are the sixth-best mark in the Skyline and 53rd-best in the country, while Henry's 1.33 average ranks 12th in the conference. Reese has scooped 50 ground balls and swiped 16 takeaways in his second collegiate campaign.
Dobson was a one-time USILA Team of the Week selection in 2026, and enters the conference tournament with the top goals against average (8.16) in the Skyline – which is also good for the 17th-best mark in Division III. The first-year Ram is also ranked 34th nationally with a .576 save percentage.
Like Lawson, Giovinco earned his third All-Skyline citation in as many seasons after dishing out a team-high 36 assists, with his 2.25 per-game average sitting as the 36th-best mark in the nation. His 65 points are the No. 2 mark on the team, while his 29 goals rank fourth.
In his first season in a Farmingdale State uniform, Forchelli has posted team-highs of 55 goals and 73 points, while his 11 extra-man goals rank fourth in Division III. The junior's 3.44 goals per outing rank 28th nationally, with his 4.56 points per game average ranking 56th.
Mai repeats as a first-team All-Skyline honoree, after earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District kudos in his first year with the Rams in 2025. His 20 helpers rank second on the team, and he ranks third with 39 goals and 59 points.Â
Farmingdale State has a 13-3 record this season, and the No. 2 seed in this week's five-team 2026 Skyline Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship. The Rams will play host to third-seeded Maritime College in a semifinal on Thursday night (April 30) at 7.
