Farmingdale State - 20, Mount Saint Vincent - 5
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's lacrosse team defeated visiting Mount Saint Vincent, 20-5, in a Skyline Conference contest on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Rams secured the No. 2 seed in the Skyline Conference Championship and will next host No. 3 Maritime in the semifinal round on Thursday (Apr 30).
It was senior day at FSC and a special pregame ceremony honored six seniors playing in their final regular season home game:
Casey Fortunato (Northport, N.Y.),
Tommy Mai (Islip, N.Y.),
Amir Slaughter (North Babylon, N.Y.),
Liam McGroarty (Northport, N.Y.),

William Henry (West Islip, N.Y.).
Farmingdale State (13-3, 6-1 Skyline) outscored the Dolphins (6-10, 3-4 Skyline), 6-1, in each of the first two quarters as they took a commanding 12-2 lead into the halftime break. Junior attackÂ
Adam Giovinco (Syosset, N.Y.) opened the scoring at the 13:48 mark off an assist from classmateÂ

FSC continued its scoring in the third quarter with six more goals. Mai scored on a man-up opportunity early in the frame before Forchelli added another goal.
