Jake Wandle Promoted to Associate Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State Department of Athletics has announced the promotion of Jake Wandle to Associate Head Coach of the Rams' men's lacrosse program.

Wandle recently completed his second season on the FSC coaching staff after a decorated playing career with the Rams from 2019-23.

"Jake has been instrumental in every aspect of our program since joining the staff," said Head Coach Sean Chamberlain. "His leadership, passion for Farmingdale State and commitment to our student-athletes make him extremely deserving of this promotion."

As an assistant coach, Wandle assisted in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, budgeting, team travel, team meals and player development. On the field, he worked closely with the Rams' defense, man-up and man-down units, riding and clearing systems, and box lacrosse concepts.

A 2025 inaugural inductee into the Farmingdale State Men's Lacrosse Ring of Honor, Wandle remains one of the most accomplished players in program history. The Rocky Point native was a three-time All-Skyline Conference selection, team captain and recipient of the department's George LaRosa Leadership Award in 2023.

Wandle graduated as Farmingdale State's all-time leading scorer with 208 career points while also earning USILA Scholar All-America honors and participating in the USILA Senior All-Star Game in 2023.

In addition to his role with the Rams, Wandle currently serves as the Director of Operations for My Lacrosse Tournaments at Dynamic Sports Management.
