LOUISVILLE, Ky. | The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced its latest edition of the Division III Team of the Week Tuesday, and Farmingdale State College junior goalie
Connor Dobson (Islip, N.Y.) was recognized on the list following a two-win week in the Rams' cage.
Dobson made 20 saves, recorded a .667 save percentage and a 5.67 goals against average to help FSC move to 5-0 on the season. He made 13 saves in last Tuesday's (March 3) 8-7 win at Utica University, including a pair of stops in the final three minutes to preserve the victory. Dobson then turned aside seven shots in just over 40 minutes of play three days later in a home triumph versus Eastern Connecticut State.
On the season, Dobson has compiled a .585 save percentage with 55 saves and a 9.06 goals against average.
Farmingdale State is next in action on its spring break trip next Tuesday (March 17), when it faces Western Connecticut State University in a noontime opening face-off from Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Fla.
