FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's volleyball team saw its four-match winning streak come to a close on Thursday night, as the Rams fell in straight sets to Ramapo College, 3-0.
The teams battled back and forth in each of the first two sets, including a second frame that featured 16 ties and five lead changes. FSC (6-2) used a 7-2 run in the second set to turn a five-point deficit into a 21-19 edge, and were in front 23-22 following a kill from freshman
Allison Marino (Merrimack, N.H.). The visiting Roadrunners (4-1) then sandwiched one Rams attack error with a pair of kills to capture a 25-23 advantage, as well as a 2-0 lead in the match, before pulling away for good in the third set.

Alana Henry (Amityville, N.Y.) led Farmingdale State with eight points on six kills and two solo blocks, while senior setter
Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.) registered a match-high four service aces, three kills and 19 assists and nine digs. Senior
Delaney Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) chipped in with five kills on the outside of the FSC offense, with junior libero
Allison Salinas (Glen Cove, N.Y.) leading the back row charge by passing 12 digs.
Farmingdale State wraps up its three-match homestand on Tuesday night (Sept. 16), when it welcomes FDU-Florham for a 6 p.m. first serve.
