Williams Named to NCAA Division III Men's Golf Committee

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Farmingdale State head men's golf coach and Assistant Athletic Director, Ryan Williams, has been selected to serve on the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Committee. His four-year term will begin September 1, 2025, and run through August 31, 2029. The committee helps guide Division III men's golf on a national level, including championship site selection, tournament operations, and policy decisions.

Williams will serve as the NCAA representative for Region II and will chair the Regional Advisory Committee (RAC), which ranks teams weekly in the spring and evaluates both teams and individuals from the region for possible selection to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship if they do not receive an automatic bid. He will also take on significant responsibilities at the national championship, including course setup, operations, and event management.

Williams, a two-time Skyline Conference Coach of the Year, has led the Rams to three straight Skyline titles and NCAA Championship appearances since taking over the program in 2021. In 2024, the team made the cut at the NCAA Championship for just the second time in program history. This past season, a program-record three student-athletes earned Scholar All-American honors.
