PENFIELD, N.Y. | Farmingdale State College shot a team total of 303 (+15) in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship on Wednesday at Midvale Country Club, as the Rams moved up nine spots to finish in 22nd place out of 43 competing teams with their two-day total of 616 (+40).
The top-18 teams advanced to the final two rounds of the Championship, with No. 5 Illinois-Wesleyan (595) two strokes ahead of 15th-ranked Kenyon (597) and No. 9 Huntingdon (597) for the team lead.

Padruig Douglas (Northport, N.Y.) fired a one-under-par 71 on Wednesday to lead FSC. He tallied three birdies on the day, and finished in 63rd place with a two-day total of 153 (+9).
Senior
Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.) led the Rams at the NCAA Championship for the second consecutive season, recording a 75 (+3) on Wednesday and finishing with a two-round total of 149 (+5). He fell one stroke shy of advancing into Thursday and Friday play as an individual qualifier.

Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) followed a 77 (+5) on Tuesday with a 79 (+7) for a two-day total of 156 (+12). Junior
James Quinlan (Poughquag, N.Y.) produced a 78 (+6) in the second round for Farmingdale State, and finished the competition with a score of 158 (+14).

CJ Merritt (Plainview, N.Y.) bounced back from a tough start in the opening round of play by carding an 80 (+8) on Wednesday to complete championship play with a 168 (+24).
