Men's Tennis Set to Play Baruch in First Round of NCAA Championship

COMPLETE NCAA DIVISION III MEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET
INDIANAPOLIS | The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the 44-team field for its 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship, and Farmingdale State College will travel to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and take on Baruch College in the first round on Thursday (May 8) at noon.

The Rams (16-3) captured the Skyline Conference Championship last week, earning a 4-2 win at top-seeded Merchant Marine. Senior Vansh Aggarwal (Mumbai, India) was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Championship after clinching FSC's win with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 come-from-behind victory at third singles.

Farmingdale State has drawn Baruch College for the first round, with the winner advancing to Friday's second round where it will play host-school and No. 9-ranked Bowdoin at 9 a.m. The five-team regional also features Babson and Stevens playing on Friday, before the winner of the pod is determined in a match on Saturday.

FSC and Baruch played previously this season on March 27, with the Rams earning a 4-3 victory. The Rams earned the doubles point after two of the matches went to a tiebreaker. In singles competition, freshman Zakaria Ahmed (Manhasset, N.Y.) and sophomores Ty Williams (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and Kwaku Agyeman (Middletown, N.Y.) rolled to singles victories, dropping less than five points apiece in their matches.
