FULL MBWA ALL-MET RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) announced its 2024-25 NCAA Division III All-Met teams Tuesday morning, and Farmingdale State College senior point guard
Jevon Santos (Elmont, N.Y.) earned a spot on the Third Team.
There are 36 colleges and universities and more than 500 players under the MBWA Division III men's umbrella. The 2024-25 All-Met teams will be honored at the 92nd MBWA Haggerty Awards dinner on Thursday, April 24, at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center in Tarrytown, NY. The Haggerty dinner is the longest running, media-managed college basketball awards program in the United States.
Santos ended his career as the program's all-time leader in assists (481) and games started (112), while also ranking second in games played (113), third in steals (210) and 10th in scoring (937 points). He was named the Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Skyline Conference this season. Santos ranked in the top-100 nationally this season in steals (22nd - led Skyline), steals per game (40th - led Skyline), assists (67th - led Skyline) and assist-to-turnover ratio (97th - second in Skyline), while routinely guarding the opposition's top perimeter scorer. He was a four-year starter and led his team to four straight regular season Skyline titles and two Championships. He also helped the Rams win an NCAA Tournament game last season for first time since 2012.
