FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's basketball team outscored fourth-seeded Maritime College, 56-19, in the final 20 minutes of play on Thursday evening en route to a 92-43 Skyline Conference semifinal victory. The win sends the Rams to their third consecutive Skyline Conference Championship Final, where they will meet third-seeded Yeshiva University in a rematch of last year's final on Sunday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m.

Admission to this weekend's championship final remains the same as it was for the semifinal round: $8 for adults, $4 for seniors and children, and free for Skyline Conference students with a valid ID. Head to SkylineConference.org to purchase tickets. The winner of the title match-up will earn the Skyline's automatic bid into next weekend's 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.

Maritime (16-11) came out quick, scoring the first nine points of the game over a 3:28 stretch. FSC (18-9) senior guard Jevon Santos (Elmont, N.Y.) got the Rams on the board with a 3-pointer and a driving layup to cut the deficit to four, but the Privateers Jake Devaney tallied a dunk and 3-pointer to regain the nine-point lead.

With 12:42 showing on the clock, Farmingdale State freshman guard James Notias (Manhasset, N.Y.) made a pull-up jumper, Santos knocked down a 3 and senior forward Hamdel Mohammed (Bronx, N.Y.) registered two layups to knot the game at 14-14.

The score was still tied, 22-22, before Rams' junior guard Sean Conroy (Staten Island, N.Y.) buried two consecutive 3's to give FSC a 28-22 advantage.

Farmingdale State maintained the six-point edge, 36-30, into the halftime break.

After Maritime scored the opening basket of the second half, the Rams went on a 21-0 run to take a commanding 57-32 advantage. Conroy started the run with five straight points and Santos followed with a layup. FSC junior guards Michael Notias (Manhasset, N.Y.) (x2) and Robbie Siechen (Syracuse, N.Y.) then knocked down a trio of 3-pointers before they closed the run with five points from Mohammed.

The Rams were ahead 69-43 and extended the lead to 32 with 3's by Michael Notias and Conroy. They outscored the Privateers, 17-6, over the final 7:18 as they rolled to the 92-49 victory.

Conroy finished with a game-high 19 points, to go with five rebounds. Santos shot 3-for-4 from behind the arc and tallied 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and four steals. Michael Notias (3-of-3 3FG) recorded 13 points and a game-high six assists, while Mohammed (6-of-6 FG) registered 13 points and six rebounds. Sophomores Liam Buckley (Manhasset, N.Y.) and Kentrell Evans (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added seven points apiece, while Siechen (2-of-2 3FG) chipped in with six points and a career-best four assists.
