RESULTS
NEW LONDON, Conn. | The Farmingdale State College indoor track and field teams competed Friday night at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's Bear Invite, with the men's contingent placing third (84 pts.) and the women's side eighth (10). 
The meet served as the Rams' final tune-up before the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, which will take place Feb. 22-23 (Sat.-Sun.) in Philadelphia.
Two men's field competitors placed first in their respective events, with sophomore 
Adonias Mercado (Hillsdale, N.Y.) capturing the shot put with a regional-qualifying mark of 14.50 meters (47-7), while junior 
Daniel Bamfo (Lake Grove, N.Y.) won the triple jump with a leap of 14.10m (46-3.25). 
On the track, freshman 
Davian Rodriguez (West Islip, N.Y.) broke the tape in the 55-meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.18 seconds (tied for ninth in school history), while the 4x400 meter relay team of 
Samuel Aladegboungbe (Jr.; Bay Shore, N.Y.), 
Isaiah Harrilal (So.; Deer Park, N.Y.), 
Nathaniel White (Fr.; Mamaroneck, N.Y.) and 
Dontay Taylor (Jr.; St. Vincent and the Grenadines) paced the field with their 3:31.83 performance. 
Taylor's 23.35 time in the 200-meter dash was good for second place, with Aladegboungbe's 52.01 time in the 400-meter dash placing third. Sophomore 
Gabriel Aguilar (Levittown, N.Y.) ran to a third-place time of 4:39.82 in the mile run, and teamed with freshman 
Jack Lengyel (Cheshire, Conn.) and 
Aaron Rivera (Levittown, N.Y.), along with sophomore 
Gianni Nino (Wantagh, N.Y.) to place third in the 4x800 meter run (9:03.82).
In women's action, freshman sprinter 
Bryanna Edwards (Bay Shore, N.Y.) placed in the top-five in both the 55-meter (7.63, fourth) and 200-meter (27.76, fifth), before running the anchor leg on the fourth-place 4x200 meter relay team (1:54.94) of 
Olivia Finnegan (Sr.; Massapequa, N.Y.), 
Ifeoluwa Longe (So.; Roosevelt, N.Y.) and 
Alexxis McNeil (Sr.; Valley Stream, N.Y.). Sophomore 
Treesha Jayakody (Jamaica, N.Y.) and freshman 
Victoria DeGraw (Kerhonkson, N.Y.) placed eighth in the triple jump (9.54m; 31-3.75) and weight throw (11.94m; 39-2.25), respectively.
