2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships
Farmingdale State: Men, 6th/9 Teams (33 pts.); Women, 8th/9 Teams (11)
PHILADELPHIA | Farmingdale State College competed over the weekend (Feb. 22-23) at the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, with the Rams' men's contingent placing sixth out of nine institutions (33 points) on the strength of three podium finishes. FSC's women's side placed eighth out of nine teams, collecting 11 points in the championship, which was held at the University of Pennsylvania's Jane and David Ott Center for Track & Field.
A pair of men's relay teams placed third for Farmingdale State in season-best times, with junior
Samuel Aladegboungbe (Bay Shore, N.Y.), sophomore
Isaiah Harrilal (Deer Park, N.Y.), freshman
Nathaniel White (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) and junior
Dontay Taylor (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) teaming up to earn podium finishes. The quartet clocked a 3:23.31 time in the 4x400 meter relay, which is the No. 59 time recorded nationally this winter, and completed the 4x200 meter relay in a time of 1:29.39 – the second-best time in FSC history.
Sophomore thrower
Adonias Mercado (Hillsdale, N.Y.) also earned a spot on the podium, as he registered a mark of 15.08 meters (49-5.75) to take home third place in the shot put. Junior
Daniel Bamfo (Lake Grove, N.Y.) earned a fifth-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 13.53m (44-4.75), while senior
Jovany Philippe (Huntington, N.Y.) placed eighth (12.29m; 40-4). Sixth-place finishes went to seniorÂ
Jahvirye Wilks (Farmingdale, N.Y.) with a 14.49m (47-6.5) mark in the weight throw, along with a 1.87m (6-1.5) mark in the high jump from freshman
Aaron Matos (East Meadow, N.Y.). After qualifying for the final in the 60-meter dash by mere one-thousandths of a second with a personal-record time of 7.14 on Saturday, Taylor picked up an eighth-place showing in the finals one day later. The distance medley relay team of sophomore
Gabriel Aguilar (Levittown, N.Y.) and freshmen
Davian Rodriguez (West Islip, N.Y.),
Aaron Rivera (Levittown, N.Y.) and
Jack Lengyel (Cheshire, Conn.) collected sixth-place points with an 11:14.97 time that is good for 99th this winter in Division III.
On the women's side, junior
Olivia Finnegan (Massapequa, N.Y.) finished in the scoring in two events for FSC, including a personal-record, seventh-place leap in the high jump (1.43m; 4-8.25), along with an eighth-place mark of 9.86m (32-4.25) in the triple jump. She also ran the leadoff leg on the sixth-place, 4x200 meter relay team (season-best time of 1:49.30), joined on the track by sophomore
Ifeoluwa Longe (Roosevelt, N.Y.), freshman
Bryanna Edwards (Bay Shore, N.Y.) and senior
Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.). McNeil, Finnegan and Longe teamed up with freshman
Alice Valenzuela (Elmont, N.Y.) in the 4x400 meter relay, as the quartet placed fifth with a season-best time of 4:20.62. Both relay performances rank No. 4 all-time in Farmingdale State history.
Sophomore
Mishell Delgado (Bronx, N.Y.) finished eighth in the pole vault with a height of 2.00m (6-6.75), while Valenzuela ran to a personal-record time of 1:02.20 in the 400-meter dash to place 10th – moving to No. 4 on the FSC all-time perfomance list in the process.
Farmingdale State is back in action Friday, when it travels to Staten Island, N.Y., to compete in the Fastrack Last Chance Qualifier at the Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex.
