FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College volleyball team played host to Baruch College on "Senior Night" Friday, falling in non-conference play to the Bearcats by a 3-1 score.

Delaney Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.), middle blocker
Lauren Offermann (North Babylon, N.Y.) and setter
Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.).
FSC (13-8) won a back-and-forth opening set versus the Bearcats (8-13), with sophomore outside hitter
Samantha Russo (Bay Shore, N.Y.) and freshman middle blocker
Alana Henry (Amityville, N.Y.) posting seven and four error-free kills, respectively. Baruch was able to pull away midway through each of the next three sets to secure the victory.
Russo finished the night with a double-double on 13 kills and 14 digs, tying Keegan for the team-high in the latter category, while Henry hit .381 on a 10-2-21 attacking line. Offermann notched 7.0 points on five kills and three total blocks, while Rende dished out 29 assists to move to 1,903 in her three-year tenure with the Rams.
Farmingdale State is back in Skyline Conference play on Thursday night (Oct. 30), when it travels to Throggs Neck, N.Y., for a 7 p.m. first serve at SUNY Maritime College.
