FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Night in grand style Wednesday night, as the Rams won their fourth-consecutive game with an 18-11, Skyline Conference victory over visiting Manhattanville University.

Ashley Codispoti (Patchogue, N.Y.) in celebration of their four-year careers with the Rams. Codispoti notched her 100th career Farmingdale State point when she tallied the opening goal of the game just 56 seconds into play.
Codispoti scored twice in the opening period of play to give Farmingdale State (8-8, 5-2 Skyline) a 3-1 advantage over the Valiants (5-10, 2-5), with her tallies sandwiching a player-up tally at the 10:14 mark by freshman attacker

Manhattanville closed to within a 5-3 margin 4:43 into the second quarter, before the hosts scored six of the final eight goals of the period to take an 11-5 lead into halftime. Sophomore

Olivia Cassese (Farmingdale, N.Y.) provided for Farmingdale State's six-goal advantage at the interval when she buried her 14th goal of the campaign 90 seconds before the buzzer.
After Livingston and Codispoti scored 33 seconds apart from each other midway through the third period, the Valiants netted two-straight goals to pull within a 13-7 margin with 4:12 on the clock. Just 34 seconds from the end of the quarter, Livingston fed sophomore
Emily Sohm (Seaford, N.Y.) for her first goal of the night, giving the hosts a seven-goal lead in the process.
Livingston registered her sixth goal of the night with 12:43 left to play in the fourth, before Manhattanville tallied three of the next four scores to close within a 16-10 margin. The Rams outscored the Valiants 2-1 over the final five minutes as they went on for the 18-11 victory.
Livingston scored seven goals for the second consecutive contest, to go with six ground balls and two caused turnovers. Codispoti finished with four goals, three assists, five draw controls, and two caused turnovers, while Cassese and Sohm notched two goals apiece. Giavanna Stamatelo (Levittown, N.Y. - W, 6-5) made 13 saves, picked up four ground balls and caused one turnover en route to her sixth win of the season.

Erin Calkins's Rams wrap up regular-season play Friday night (April 26), when they travel to Patchogue, N.Y., for a 5 p.m. opening draw at St. Joseph's University-Long Island. The winner of the contest between FSC and the Golden Eagles will lock up the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in next week's six-team Skyline Conference Championship.
