MESA, Ariz. | The Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse team picked up two wins on its spring break trip at the Arizona Athletic Grounds, defeating University of Northwestern-St. Paul on Wednesday by an 18-3 score on Wednesday, before capturing an 18-4 decision one day later against Ohio Northern University.

A 10-1 first period set the tone for the Rams, who scored the first nine goals of the game before conceding to the Eagles with 1:54 left. Freshman

Megan Diamond (Dix Hills, N.Y.) each registered a hat trick in the opening 15 minutes of play, with Livingston's coming consecutively over a 1:12 span. In all, nine different FSC players scored goals on the night, while its defense held UNW off the scoreboard in the second and third quarters.

FSC (3-4) broke open a 2-2 game with Neu's score off a pass from Diamond with 7:14 left in the first quarter, with the goal starting a run of six-straight tallies to help the green and white to an 8-3 lead at halftime. Sohm and Codispoti scored in the first seven minutes of the second half, before the Polar Bears (5-3) answered with a goal at the 7:07 mark of the third quarter to cut their deficit to 10-4. The Rams defense held ONU scoreless the rest of the way, as Farmingdale State closed out the game with eight unanswered goals to round out the road trip with two wins in as many outings.
Diamond set her career-high in points for the second-straight game with an 11-point showing on four goals and seven assists, with Codispoti firing home a career-high five goals while dishing out one assist. Sohm's four-goal outing was the best mark of her first collegiate lacrosse season, while Livingston (1a) and Neu each potting two goals in the game. Codispoti and junior defender
Sarah Fava (Lynbrook, N.Y.) each swiped three turnovers from the Polar Bears in front of Farmingdale State's goalkeeping tandem of Stamatelo and Reilly, who registered six and five saves, respectively.
