CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
NEW YORK | The eight-team field for the 2024 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship is now set, with Farmingdale State claiming the #1 seed after their program-best 15-1 record in conference play.
The Quarterfinal round gets underway Tuesday evening, when FSC hosts eighth-seeded St. Joseph's-Long Island for a 7 p.m. tip-off. The winner will play either fifth-seeded Sarah Lawrence or fourth-seeded Maritime on Thursday evening in the Semifinals.
On the other side of the bracket, Yeshiva is the #2 seed and will kick off tourney play against #7 Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday. The winner of the Maccabees/Dolphins will advance to Thursday night action, where they will face the winning side between sixth-seeded U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and #3 Manhattanville.
The Championship Final will take place February 24th at the highest-remaining seed
(note: accommodations will be made for religious observances), with the winner earning the Skyline Conference's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.Â
