RESULTS
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the NYC Gotham Cup at theĀ Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex on Friday. The meet featured 26 teams fromĀ all three NCAA divisions.
Sophomore
Nicholas Lourenco (Bay Shore, N.Y.) was victorious in the pole vault for the fourth consecutive meet. He cleared a height of 4.80m (15' 9"). Lourenco continues to lead the Metro Region and rank 7th in the Nation.
Junior
Robert Kalinowski (Farmingdale, N.Y.) also competed in the pole vault and placed fourth (3.75m).
Kalinowski and Lourenco ran in the 60m hurdles and recorded 11th and 12th place, respectively, in 9.34 and 9.52.
Freshman
Dontay Taylor (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted a career-best time of 7.29 in the 60m dash and is now tied for 10th all-timeĀ in program history.
Senior
Jahvirye Wilks (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and freshman
Adonias Mercado (Hillsdale, N.Y.) led the men's throwers. Wilks placed fifth in the weight throw (15.18m) and ninth in the shot put (12.23m), while Mercado was 11th in the weight throw (12.95) andĀ seventh in the shot put (12.92m).Ā
Junior
Jovany Philippe (Huntington, N.Y.) recorded a team-best mark in the long jump (6.25m - 20' 6.25") and came in sixth place and junior
Isaiah Mehnert (West Babylon, N.Y.) led the way in the triple jump with a season-high mark of 12.29m (40' 4") and placed eighth.

Matthew Latimer (Wyandanch, N.Y.) improved their time by almost 18 seconds from last week to 3:30.46 and came in eighth place.
SeniorĀ
Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) led the women's sprinters with times of 8.11 in the 60m dash (14th place) and 27.08 in the 200m (26th).
Freshman
Mishell Delgado (Bronx, N.Y.) ran the 60m hurdles and recorded a career-best time of 11.43. She improved her eighth ranked time on the FSC top-10 list.
Delgado also competed in the long jump and tallied a length of 4.14m (13' 7") for 16th.
For the second straight week, freshman
Ashley Toro (Bay Shore, N.Y.) (9.14m - 30') andĀ junior
Madelyn Karman (Sayville, N.Y.)Ā (11.37m - 37' 3.75") led FSC in the shot put and weight throw, respectively.
Farmingdale State next headsĀ to New London, Connecticut for the Coast Guard Academy Invite on Friday, February 2nd.
