Farmingdale State - 5, Rutgers-Newark - 4

Newark, N.J. - Farmingdale State men's tennis opened their fall season schedule today with a 5-4 victory over Rutgers-Newark (0-2). The Rams improve to 1-0 on the year.

Trailing 2-1 entering singles play, the Rams went on to win 4-of-6 singles matches. Farmingdale State posted singles victories from Zachary Baker (Carmel, N.Y.), Dylan Murarka (Westbury, N.Y.), Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) and James Roth (Massapequa, N.Y.).

Farmingdale State will now host Adelphi on Thursday, October 13 at 4:00 p.m.
