Jamaica, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team improved to 2-2 overall today with a 9-0 non-conference victory over York College (NY).

The Rams held the 3-0 lead after doubles play, posting wins of 8-2, 8-0 and 8-1, respectively.

In the singles matches, freshman Andy Bentz (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and senior Kevin Palacios (Glen Cove, N.Y.) posted 6-0, 6-2 wins, while sophomore Daniel Kafka (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) finished with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Senior Dan Baruch (East Meadow, N.Y.), junior Marvin Beaubrun (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and freshman Josh Kaplan (Greenlawn, N.Y.) each posted shutout wins of 6-0, 6-0.

Farmingdale State will now face the College of Staten Island on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m.
