Clermont, Fla. - The Farmingdale State softball team split again in Florida on day two, Tuesday, March 12th. The Rams now stand at 2-2 overall.

With games pushed back due to a rain delay, the Rams got a late start...but a four-run third inning would prove to be enough to take a 6-3 win over Finlandia University (Mich.). Freshman catcher Meagan Anderson (Patchogue, N.Y.), junior shortstop Hillary Genova (Brentwood, N.Y.) and senior first baseman Jennifer Jarczynski (West Babylon, N.Y.) each finished 2-for-4. Sophomore centerfielder Michelle Mongiello (Elmont, N.Y.) was 1-for-3 with two RBI's.

Capping off the night with an 11pm start against Heidelberg, the Rams fell 4-3. Trailing 3-1 in the fifth inning, Farmingdale State's Meagan Anderson hit a two-run homer to tie the game at 3-3.
