Rams Place Second at NJIT Highlander

Men - 8k, Women - 5K
Newark, N.J. - Taking advantage of the fast
course and excellent racing conditions, the men's and women's teams
each set five personal bests in the race.
The men's team was once again led by the trio of Sean Tiernan
(4th - 27:00.71) Sean Daly (5th - 27:07.19) and Tim Flynn (10th -
27:52.71). The Rams finished in second place out of the 14
competing teams.
Running without three injured athletes, the five women each set
personal bests to place 8th out of 10 teams. Freshman Melissa
Bonilla led the team again with a 10th place finish in an
outstanding 21:00.99.
The teams next meet will be the St. Joseph's College
Invitational on October 24th.
