COMPLETE USILA RELEASE
LOUISVILLE, Ky. | The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its 2026 Scholar All-Americans this week, and Farmingdale State College senior midfielder
Tommy Mai (Islip, N.Y.) was recognized by the association for his excellence on the field and in the classroom.
Mai is the sixth USILA Scholar All-American selection in program history, and the fifth across the last four seasons. Teammate Will Henry was an honoree in 2025, while
Dan Erler and
Kyle Kolano both garnered similar accolades in 2024. Current FSC associate head coach
Jake Wandle was recognized as a Scholar All-American following the 2023 campaign, and Ryan LaFlare captured the program's first award from the association in 2007.
A selection to the prestigious USILA Senior All-Star Game, Mai was named to the All-Skyline Conference First Team in 2026 for the second time in as many seasons at Farmingdale State. Mai, a criminal justice major, received the Skyline's Elite 19 Award during this spring's conference championship for holding the highest grade point average amongst the tourney's participating student-athletes. He notched 61 points on 40 goals (the top midfielder mark on FSC, and No. 3 on the team overall) and 21 assists – the second-highest total on the squad. Mai's averages of 2.35 goals and 3.59 points per game both ranked eighth on the Skyline Conference leaderboard.Â
