Assistant Coach: Jake Wandle (1st season)
Coach Jake Wandle became a member of the men's lacrosse staff for the 2025 season. Wandle, a graduate of Farmingdale State College, played five seasons under Head Coach Sean Chamberlain. He earned an array of honors over his career including team captain, All-Conference (3x) and George LaRosa Leadership Award winner. He also left FSC as the all-time leading scorer with 208 career points.
Throughout his time as a student-athlete, Jake was a leader for the program in its community service efforts. At the Long Island Parkinson's Moving Day in October 2022, Wandle and his family started the 'Wandle's Warriors" team, and with the support of his teammates and coaches, was the top donor, raising over $6,000. In addition, Wandle has volunteered, provided gifts and spread holiday cheer to the children at the Suffolk AHRC Center in Bohemia, N.Y. each year since 2019. Wandle has taught his sport with both the Inclusive Lacrosse and Wheel Chair Lacrosse initiatives and he also assisted with a Safe Halloween event, participated in the St. Baldrick's Skyline Conference Shave Off, and volunteered and raised money for the Ann Asparro Run and #DezyStrong Foundation.
Jake is currently the Director of Operations for My Lacrosse Tournaments at Dynamic Sports Management.
