COMPLETE SKYLINE ALL-CONFERENCE RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's 11 women's basketball head coaches have voted on the 2024-25 edition of the all-conference team, and Farmingdale State College senior guard
Gemma Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) has earned Second Team distinction. Fellow senior, point guard
Isabella Greenwald (West Islip, N.Y.), was selected to the Skyline's All-Sportsmanship Team.
Pohalski is a two-year starter in as many seasons in a green and white uniform, and has posted a team-high 52 steals while ranking second in scoring (10.0 ppg), rebounding (6.5 rpg) and assists (61). Her senior leadership has helped a FSC defense that ranks second in the Skyline in steals (12.52/gm.), turnover margin (plus-7.12/gm.) and turnovers forced (23.8/gm.), and has limited the opposition to an average of 53.7 points per game.
Farmingdale State has a 17-8 record thus far in 2024-25, the most victories since the 2014-15 outfit notched 18 wins, and went 14-6 in regular-season Skyline play. The Rams are the No. 4 seed in the six-team Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Championship, and are playing host to a conference tourney game for the first time since 2018 on Tuesday night, when they welcome fifth-seeded St. Joseph's University-Long Island for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
