Biography

Gemma is a 2020 graduate of St. Pius V School. She transferred to Farmingdale State after playing basketball at Nassau County Community College. Gemma is the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Pohalski.

2024-25...Second Team All-Skyline Conference...Played in 26 games, with 25 starts...Led FSC with 56 steals and ranked second for scoring (10.2), assists (62), rebounds (160) and field-goal percentage (.336)...Finished eighth in the Skyline for steals, 14th in rebounding (6.2) and 19th for scoring.
2023-24...Skyline Conference Academic Honor Roll...was one of two players to start all 26 games for the Rams...led team in assists (71) and steals (38), while ranking second and third in rebounding (6.7/gm.) and scoring (8.3/gm.), respectively.
