FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College athletics teams are in full swing, with all four winter teams set to compete over the next week-plus in their respective conference championships, while the Rams' spring squads are slated to open play over the next several days.
Men's Basketball (16-8, 13-2 Skyline)
The two-time defending Skyline champions locked up the No. 1 seed for next week's conference tourney with an 89-81 victory Wednesday night at SUNY Old Westbury. The Rams have now won seven games in a row, and round out regular-season play Saturday afternoon at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (1 p.m. tip-off). Quarterfinal play for the 2025 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship will take place Tuesday (Feb. 25), with FSC playing host to the No. 8 seed a time to be determined.Â
Women's Basketball (16-8, 13-6 Skyline)
Farmingdale State's women's program has won six games in a row down the stretch, including Wednesday night's Senior Night triumph over SUNY Old Westbury. The Rams have already clinched a spot in the six-team 2025 Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Championship, and wraps up regular-season action Saturday at 1 p.m. at cross-island foe St. Joseph's University-Long Island. If FSC defeats the Golden Eagles, it would lock up a home first-round playoff game (Feb. 25) for the first time since 2018.
Indoor Track and Field
The Rams will compete Saturday and Sunday in the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Jane & David Ott Center for Track and Field in Philadelphia. Saturday's events will commence at 5 p.m., with Sunday competition beginning at 4 p.m. Fans attending the championship can purchase tickets

Men's Lacrosse
Fresh off its first Skyline title last spring, head coach
Sean Chamberlain's Rams were picked to repeat in the conference's
preseason coaches poll. FSC opens its season in the Sunshine State, playing Friday at 4 p.m. at NCAA Division II member Lynn University in Boca Raton, before facing NAIA top-ranked Keiser University in West Palm Beach on Sunday at noon. The Rams' first home game is scheduled for next Saturday (March 1) at noon, versus Hartwick College.
Women's Lacrosse
Head coach
Erin Calkins's team captured the program's fifth Skyline championship last May, and has been slotted to finish second in the
preseason coaches poll after gathering five of the nine available first-place votes. Saturday's scheduled season opener versus Kean University has been postponed, and will be made up on April 15 at 4 p.m. The Rams, instead, will begin their 2025 campaign Wednesday night (Feb. 26), when they play host to Vassar University at 6.
Men's Tennis (3-2)
Farmingdale State collected its second-straight Skyline Conference trophy in May, and following a five-match fall campaign, has been slotted by the conference's coaches to finish atop the standings once again this spring
in their poll. Head coach
Adam Waterhouse's side gets underway in spring competition on March 22 (Sat.), when it plays host to Oneonta State at 1 p.m.
Softball
The Rams have won a Skyline-record nine championships in their history, and with five first-place votes have been selected to make a return to the top of the conference standings in the
preseason coaches poll. FSC will kick off its season as part of its annual Spring Break trip, as head coach
Liz Pennino's team will take on SUNY Brockport (10 a.m.) and New England College (12:15 p.m.) on March 16 in Kissimmee, Fla.
Baseball
Head coach
Keith Osik's Farmingdale State contingent was picked to finish second in the Skyline's
preseason coaches poll, after advancing to the conference finals one year ago. The Rams' doubleheader on Saturday (Feb. 22) against UMass Dartmouth has been canceled, and the green and white will now open their season at home next Saturday (March 1) in a noontime doubleheader against preseason 23rd-ranked Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Golf
The Rams won their record
16th Skyline Conference crown in the fall, and have received an automatic bid for the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship in May. Head coach
Ryan Williams's team will travel to Tampa for its annual Spring Break trip, competing March 19 (Wed.) at 9:30 a.m. against St. Joseph's University-Long Island at the Saddlebrook Resort.
Women's Tennis (12-5, 5-1 Skyline)
Waterhouse's women's team won its record
eighth Skyline championship in the fall, and has earned automatic qualification to May's 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship. In preparation for the national tourney, Farmingdale State's spring season will get underway April 3 with a 4:30 p.m. home match against NCAA Division II foe Molloy University.
