FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Farmingdale State junior guard Sean Conroy (Staten Island, N.Y.) tallied 22 points to lead the Rams to a 99-73 win over Skyline Conference opponent Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon. The Rams improved to 8-2 in conference play, while the Dolphins fell to 4-6.

Tied 8-8 just under five minutes in, Farmingdale State (11-8) used a Conroy stepback, Liam Buckley (Manhasset, N.Y.) layup and Michael Notias (Manhasset, N.Y.) 3-pointer to jump in front, 15-8.

After a Mount Saint Vincent (7-12) 3-pointer, five straight points by FSC senior forward Hamdel Mohammed (Bronx, N.Y.) and a 3-pointer by freshman forward Jordan Tucker (Elmont, N.Y.) gave the Rams a 12-point lead at 23-11.

The Dolphins trailed 29-25 with 6:50 to play in the first half and knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to jump ahead. They extended their lead to 34-31 before the Rams closed on a 16-2 run and led 47-36 at the break.

Farmingdale State came out quick in the second half as Buckley tallied a layup and Conroy had baskets in the first two minutes. Following a 3-pointer by MSV, a 6-2 spurt by the Rams put them in front by 16, 55-39.

The Rams held a 76-57 advantage with 8:51 to play and tallied seven straight points to open up a 26-point advantage.

FSC led by as many as 28 in the final six minutes as they earned the 99-73 Skyline victory.

Conroy was 4-for-7 from behind the arc en route to his season-high 22 points. Buckley finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while junior guard Robbie Siechen (Syracuse, N.Y.) was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field and had a career-best 11 points.
